Cuciture a contrasto su tutto il Kimono. Nel GI Nero le cuciture sono grigie e questo gli dona una nota di eleganza che non guasta. La presenza di cuciture triple in tutti i punti di maggiore stress è garanzia di durabilità. Anche il filo usato per le cuciture è robusto e il GI non presenta né sbavature nella cucitura né fili svolazzanti. E’ presente, all'interno della giacca, per coprire e rinforzare la cucitura che unisce le due parti in cui è composta la giacca, una rifinitura che a qualcuno potrà sembrare solo una scelta stilistica ma che potrebbe tornare utile nel tempo (un rinforzo fa sempre bene soprattutto nei punti di raccordo).

Molto elegante la toppa rotonda che in una corona d'alloro racchiude la “E” di Estilo, ed è ricamata di un bel colore argento su sfondo arancione che risalta molto sul nero.

Questo tocco di novità contrasta un po’ con i più grandi loghi che riportano la scritta Tatami e che a pensarci bene sembrano passati di moda. Tutti i ricami sono "IBJJF approved":non rischierete di non competere com’è successo alla moglie di Galvao!

Bavero gommato, anatomicamente ben disegnato e ricoperto in cotone canvas che, rispetto ai tradizionali coletti rivestiti di cotone twill o ripstop, è più resistente, anche se all’inizio sembra più rigido. Un bel colletto robusto che difficilmente si andrà a crepare dopo neanche un anno di lavaggi e inoltre, cosa non da poco, renderà difficile ai vostri avversari strangolarvi. Conserva la sua forma anche durante la lotta e non ha il difetto di alcuni colletti di andare a sbattere fastidiosamente sul mento.

Diametro del polsino alla manica "largo", se si è abituati a vestire marche quali l’Atama o Venum, ma questo è fatto per non rischiare che il GI non passi la verifica nei campionati più importanti in cui si controlla il Gi dalla testa ai piedi. Sono presenti robuste finiture di rinforzo all'interno del risvolto e dei polsini che riportano il logo tatami.
Sleeve cuff Diameter is pretty "wide", if you are used to wear brands such as Atama or Venum, but this is done to avoid the risk that the GI not pass the check in the major tournaments where they control the Gi from head to feet. There are strong finishes of reinforcement inside the lapel and cuffs marked with the tatami logo .

Per tutti i kimono Estilo da la possibilità di ordinare giacca e pantalone anche di due taglie differenti in modo da venire incontro alle esigenze dei clienti. Questa caratteristica rende la Tatami Fightwear una delle poche aziende ad adottare questa politica che ritengo molto interessante. Il Gi da un'idea di solidità si presta a essere maltrattato in allenamento o in gara.

Taglio e vestibilità sartoriale e ottimo comfort per un Gi che non presenta difetti per pieghe o cuciture mal eseguite in grado di creare fastidiose sensazioni di disagio. Questo GI ha tutta l'idea di essere un modello durevole nel tempo adatto a un uso intensivo e frequente.

Alcune modifiche che apporterei al Gi sono:
E' un buon Gi non troppo appariscente eccezzion fatta per i loghi tatami, forse troppo presenti sulla giacca e sul pantalone. E’ una tradizione che la tatami conserva dai primi modelli ma personalmente, essendo un'amante dello stile minimale, li preferirei più piccoli.
Essendo un longilinea la giacca veste un po’ larga sul tronco ma questo è un problema che riscontro in molti GI.
